Should have none there would be a problem when the owners manual says to ignore danger warning on drivers. Got it to work once and never again - finally threw it away.I will never by PenPower gear again.

Nice portable scanner

This was easy to setup, calibrate and get working in short order. Bought for the wife to use for a research product, it took minimal training to get her using it smoothly. The software interface is top-notch and friendly - a great tool for the home.

Out of the box - OK

Performs nicely but could use better software. At this early stage, you are limited to its use.

Doesn't work for Win7 64-bit systems

Doesn't work for Win7 64-bit systems, but I can still use it on my wife's 32-bit XP system. It's small enough to keep on the desk, does a great job of copying, no smeared or unreadable pdf files. Good deal & price.

poor software

Software incompatible with Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. Freezes both.

Excellent! Perfect solution.

Highly recommend. Low cost and clear scans. Files are automatically PDF format. Can save home and office documents in a more secure location than regular file cabinets. Takes minimal space in desk. Hundred of pages fit in any memory device. No need to buy expensive scanners.

Best purchase ever

This was a great purchase. I am trying to eliminate old files and scan new receipts into Quicken. This small scanner does both quickly and is very easy to use and set up. I had no problem calibrating it on the first scan. All required paper sizes are shown and no additional downloads are needed. A really great tool. It is well worth the money.

Horrible Quality

I bought this after reading numerous favorable reviews however my experience was quite different. I installed the software, hooked up the scanner and ran the alignment sheet through. I never could get a legible scan. I tried calibrating numerous times with no change. Perhaps I just received a malfunctioning unti but I had no time to waste so I went with a ScanSnap unit that worked the first time out of the box.

Helping me go paperless

I have two of these - one in the office and one at home. I scan everything that doesn't come electronically using the included Scan2PDF software and then shred most originals. It does take a bit of practice to feed the paper straight. Tried a different scanner but it didn't work as well as this one.
