I bought this ups for use on my new Plazma TV, not a computer. It works perfectly, getting past the occasional power hiccup and gives me plenty of time to turn everything off when the power fails. |

Ive been using this unit to back up some networking equipment. Works great and the lcd is nice for seeing how much time you have left on battery power. Highly recommended! |

Living in Florida, I keep almost every piece of electronics on an UPS. I have used UPS from many different makers, and keep on coming back to the quality of the APC brand. I like this unit for the specific information available in the LCD panel, as well as the ease of setup. As has been already said, You get what you pay for. I got the best! |

I use way too many APC ups around the house protecting everything. Compairing this unit to other APC units, it comes up a little bit short. Don't get me wrong, this is an excelent unit, but, the sensitivity settings on this unit do not compare to something like APC's RS series. Computer hookup and setup is easy and straight forward. Run time is great. If you are not hooking this up to a computer, then the front LCD display provides you with lots of great information. |

This replaces an Ultra UPS that died after two years (circuitry, not batteries). This APC unit is so much better than the Ultra; the digital readout on the front panel is alone worth the extra money. It shows many things, among them battery strength, load level, run-time, wattage level, and in- and out-put voltages. The firmware installed quickly, and will shut down the computer in a specified number of minutes. Connection to the computer is via USB cable. Everything about this unit demonstrates a professional attitude towards unit design. You get what you pay for. I got the best! |
