Summary:
This unit was a replacement and upgrade for a previous UPS. We run a ethernet switch and email server off of this backup. Power has not failed yet so I don't know how reliable this item is. Only problem is that I wish it came in black.

Summary:
Seems to be doing all that's been asked of it. I had a very limited amout of space to place the unit and it fit better than planned. I may get another of the same unit or a similar unit which uses the same batteries for interchanging purposes. There is one feature that is missing They should have given the Phone RJ11 two-line (four wire), I would have paid a bit more for that feature. APC's big thing is their customer service

Summary:
Great unit, have had for a bout a year, has reacted well to brownouts and power loss, however it is really LOUD (fans). Not great for HTPC setup or in anywhere you might want a bit of peace & Quiet.

Summary:
Solid unit! It operates quietly (fan), the vertical mounting works best in my limited work area. Good value / performance for my home server (Intel S5000VSA motherboard, dual Xeon CPU's, 8GB RAM, two 1GB SATA drives) rated 550W and am using a 750W power supply.

Summary:
Typically good APC unit, (performes well long runs & quick responses to wayward power conditions) with computer or home entertainment equipment. The only problem is the rear AC outputs, they don't provide a very tight grip on the plug inserted. At least my unit is that way.

Summary:
We purchased two of these units based on APC's performance and value. We were not disappointed, because it has since more than paid for itself in productivity and peace of mind. the device installs easily, has a good monitoring software and plenty of outlets.

Summary:
I bought the APC unit that was rated at 1000 VA/600 Watts recently. I don't see it offered at your site now. Hopefully it's still available since it would be more than would be needed for the average home computer user. With everything cooking here I've yet to exceed 400 Watts. The unit works great, the battery was fully charged out of the box, it sold for $99.00, and looks identical to the 1200VA/780 Watt unit offered here. Regardless, if the unit I bought is any indication of the quality of APC I'd say you can't go wrong with this or any other unit they offer.
