I believe you'll need a microATX mobo. (uATA) I am trying to do the exact same thing, because I am upgrading to a dual core processor and can't afford to buy a new case right now. The first time I upgraded the MOBO, I didn't pay any attention to the size, and ended up with the right fit anyway, but with technology coming so far in the past few years, I did some looking around online and it seems that people are saying an ATX board would be too big.Of course, you could always just open the computer and measure the board (ATX is something like 9x12'' and uATA 9x9''). I'm doing that, once I turn off my computer.Sorry, I just realized this is a super old question...but in case anyone else was curious. Answer by Anonymous Posted 07/30/2009
