The Proximus P16-41438 Video Security Kit comes with everything you need to keep a good eye on your surroundings, including a pre-installed 500GB hard drive, Digital Video Recorder, 4 Day & Night Cameras, 4 60-foot long cables, a remote control and a USB mouse. The digital video recorder features 30fps recording resolution, D1 recording options, H.264 video compression and 8 audio inputs (audio cameras not included). You can record in Manual, Alarm or Time settings, whichever is more convenient for you. You can also set the digital video recorder to record only when motion is detected by the cameras which save valuable space on the DVR’s hard drive. Once motion has been detected, you can receive a real time email alert with an image attached.

Three video in ports work just fine. Sent to Proximus Three weeks ago to have repaired or replaced and have not received back, Called Proximus and was told they did not know when it would be sent to me. Next time I will buy another brand.

I am not that good with technology... This system was easy to install... the hardest part was to decide where to install them. Picture is fine, and it comes with everything you need. I've seen this systems running for over $400 at my local Sam's club... unbeatable value. Dont think it much... just buy it!

System worked as advertised. Special price of $199.00 was great bargain. Allowed me to get an extended waranty. Product arrived fast. Other reviewers are spot on about the mouse and the menu for the alphabet which is poorly designed and hard to navigate. Camera's worked fine, cables were to short as expected. I may upgrade the cameras later and get one that can pan and focus and a higher resolution.(600TVL).Quite satisfied.

Tha value of the package is good, especially when on sale. Color reproduction is very poor, even in daylight. Colors washed out and not true. Will be OK for home security.

Excellent kit, everything needed to setup in a fast food restaurant. Only thing lacking is a simpler method to access it from the Internet.
