Works Great!
I have had this up and running with nightly backups for about 6 weeks now - works great! USB 3.0 is MUCH faster too. Comes with a bunch of crapware - auto backup and stuff which I deleted off the drive since I don't need it.
WONDERFUL
AWESOME BUY! I have recommended this to everyone, I bought it on sale for 89.99 and it was a great buy, you can format it to work on both Apple and Windows at the same time and I have had no problems with it, Love Seagate and they make a quality product
Handy portable HD
In a computer I use for work there's only a very small HD so I used this portable one as an addon to put some video files I make, It's really handy and I like the backup software that came with it.
Great Product
I can't coment on the on board software as I use a different backup software
I also have the 500 gig version and am very happy with both drives.
Does not work on USB hub
This hard drive does NOT work on a USB hub. That's a fact that should be mentioned in the catalog.
