Fine product, wrong fit
The Xerox 7600 flatbed scanner came highly recommended for use with my MacBookPro. The price was great, and it was shipped in quick time, but I was never able to find the secret of getting them connected. It probably works best when both elements are parts of a larger network, not my case. After consulting with Apple and with Xerox I concluded it was not going to work and returned the scanner for a refund. Fine product and service, but not a good fit for my system. Thank you.

Great value for the price
I love the compact size - about the size of a laptop. I don't like that it doesn't ship with Windows 7 software...you have to go to the website to get that, so forget about its CD. And the blackness of the inside of the lid shows through ordinary paper. I use a second sheet to increase the opacity.

Its' too easy
This thing does great, all it said and things I didn't know it would. Windows sees it right off so you can fax or file. I checked all the boxes for best but don't know how rugged it is yet.
