Not reliable
When i first recieved this thing i thought to my self WOW.. this thing is really nice. I didn't realize it was touch screen when i ordered it. Worked fine for the first month and then it started acting up. At first i had to constantly clean the printhead connections, then it started telling me that there was a problem with the printhead and it wouldn't do anything but turn on. Support said it was my software so i updated it. Nothing changed. Then one day one of the kids turned it on to print something and the error was gone. I bought this on sale for like $85 so if it keeps working i'll be happy, but you never know with this thing. Also goes through ink really fast and the wireless will connect but it won't print unless it's wired.
Very Nice Printer
This is a very nice printer. I upgraded from an older HP to this. I wanted a printer that was able to handle the print server duties without needing the PC to be kept on. It also connected easily via Wi-Fi so I don't need it tied to my PC. It will stay in power save mode until a print request, at which time it will power up and print. The touch screen is very nice and will pull down news and other interesting tidbits (although in reality you don't read it much).
Excellent Printer
Great printer, does exactly what I want it to do. My only complaint would be the scan software that comes with it isn't very good-- not enough advanced options for me. Otherwise, perfect!
Great little All-in-One
The only reason I gave quality 4 stars is because the first unit I received had a bad touchscreen. Lexmark tech support was great. They sent me another printer which I received in 2 days. They also paid return shipping for the bad one. Product registration gives you a 3 year warranty. The free downloadable apps are an excellent bonus. The auto-duplex is true auto-duplex - the printer prints one side then pulls the paper back in to print the other side. No human intervention required.
Good. A little slow. Not for Mac?
Purchased for my wife's home office. She is happy with it. Says it is slower than the HP it replaced and not photo quality. But, good and does the job. My only complaint would be that I can't find drivers for my old MacBook, so I can't print to it. All the other computers in the house print to it, wirelessly, though and we are pleased overall.
