This system replaced my old Gateway. My 13 year old grandson picked it out and set it up for me. I build houses for a living and I am not up to date on computers. I told him what I needed & what I was planning & he said this is it! I run Quicken, QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Office and a CAD sytem and have not experienced any delay in response time or slow down. The old Gateway had trouble working with more than one of these programs & the CAD system was not even feasible.

This pc is a great value. It is all that you need for basic home computing. I did have some issues with not shutting down or starting up properly, but customer support,which is available 24 hours a day, walked me through and resolved the issue. Hard drive cable was not seated properly. Seems to be ok now. Power button is pretty flimsy, but no problem so far.
Overall a good value and all American support is worth something as well IMO. |

I must have gotten a lemon. It would fight everything I tried to do with it. It would not install any drivers and even Microsoft downloads would get an error message at the end. I finally had to just put it back in the box and get a Lenovo. It works smoothly. I don't know if it's Systemax or 7, but it's Junk to me. I didn't even get a book with it. I am very displeased. |
