The Balt 34434 Ergo Ex Ergonomic is the ultimate in pneumatically adjustable ergonomically designed chairs. The Balt 34434 Ergo Ex Ergonomic Mesh Chair is designed to provide unmatched comfort and unmatched customizability. The padded and contoured seat of the Balt 34434 Ergo Ex Ergonomic Mesh Chair measures a generous 21"W x 19"D and slides forward and backward for a custom fit.
The seat is adjustable in height from 18" to 21 3/4" to accommodate users of different heights. The stylish mesh back allows breathability, and measures 22 1/2"H x 20 1/2"W.
The back can be tilted for comfort, and an adjustable lumbar support device adds just the right amount of support for the lower back. The padded headrest tilts and can be raised and lowered for the ideal fit. Armrests are fully adjustable, swiveling from side to side, sliding back and forth, and adjusting in height for individual comfort.
The chair includes a durable metal 5-star base with casters for easy maneuverability. The easy to assemble Ergo Ex can be put together in less than 15 minutes.

If you have a bad back, don't waste your money on this chair. I have the Ergo Ex and it has the worst design and least comfortable lumbar rest ever made for a chair. The overall quality is poor. I had mine for 13 months and the seat pan split, leaving one armrest flopping to the side. Now the Mesh is pulling from the back (held in place with Paper Staples !). There are way better for far less money.

Minimum assembly (socket & ratchet set advised for ease and speed). Very sturdy and steady motion fuctionality (Rolling, Tilting, Seat and armrests height & depth. Overall great comfort but seperately purchased standard Wondergel seat cushion made it perfect (Hence 4 stars on performance). Poor packing likely caused broken lift handle despite no appearance of external package damage.

The chair has every adjustment I wanted that would ease my back after hours spent at the computer. I am very satisfied with the performance and quality of the product. I priced out a similar chair at a local dealer, one that met my requirements, only not worth double the price.

very comfortable chair, adjustable in every way to fit your body. assembly was pretty simple (be sure to have a screw driver handy), and takes less than 10 mins. no need to reupholster the seat, but i can see it being uncomfortable if the user surpasses the weight limit of the chair.
