Excellent in keep the CPU cool, it's quiet, and also plays a part in keeping the computer cool. This is another product I would recommend to anyone who needs a excellent CPU cooler! |

Installed in a new build. Xoxide case, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, Intel E8500. Runs as QUIET as I've never heard, lol. Also, my PC is cool as a cucumber. Really, it knocked down my temps by at least 10* Celsius. Well, I also added another 120m fan on the other side for push/pull but I don't think I would've needed to. Check your case dimensions. Although smaller than it's big brother (which I don't think would've fit my case), it's still a nice size! |

I've never built a PC but I'm not dumb with electronics. If you're not comfortable tearing your machine apart enough to remove the motherboard (AM2+ Phenom x4 9500 2.2ghz) this cooler is not for you. But if you are a PC do-it-yourselfer this cooler is ''cool''. I run in Fehrenheit and was idling at 120deg to 135deg at 100% load. After installation I cannot get my core temp above 110deg and idle from 96 to 100. QUIET! My HTPC can only be heard in a silent room. Smaller than it's 120mm big brother it fits nicely. |
