I bought a 16 GB Rally2 to replace an old 8GB Rally2 I've had for years which I've beaten up a bit, including washing it in a load of laundry once. It still works but I thought it might be reaching the end of its life. The new 16 GB Rally2 works fine but seems to be a bit slower than the 8 GB one I have, plugged into the same USB port on the same computer. Also, it runs quite a bit hotter than the 8 GB one after being plugged in for 15 minutes or more. I'll see how it does in the next few weeks or months.

Three of four of the 8gb Rally OCZscame apart at the neck of the usb probe. I call that poor quality, no matter how they worked

I bought one of these in Feb. 2011, It worked fine and was very fast. However in a few weeks I started getting corrupted data on it. Contacted the manufacturer who advised reformatting and try it. Seemed like it would work. Finally in May it was returned to OCZ who said they could not replace it with the same one since it was no longer made. They offered to replace it with the cheaper on. I will not buy any more OCZ products! Do not buy this drive. The old ones with the orange LEDs were fine. The new ones are NOT dependable.

We purchased this as a shareport device so we could transfer files from one computer to the other. Works wonderfully for hi def vids and photo transfers. Able to play Hi def movies right from the stick without transferring to my laptop(shareport enabled router). A safe buy for vista users.
