Plug in both ends and it works just fine.
A Cable which gets the Job Done
Works with ether speeds at 1k so no complaints. Multiple sharp zigzag bends did not cause internal circuit breaks. I prefer the cables with the clip covers (anti-snag feature) so I rated down on features. Would purchase again.
