this is a grate hub had one on the wife pc for three years works good put one on my new build cost is more but you get what you pay for

You get what you pay for.
What can you really say about a USB hub? It's solid construction and 7 ports make it extremely handy. You can use it with or without the power cord and with my application it doesn't move around like the lighter, plastic ones.

SIMPLE TO USE AND WORKS GREAT
Works Great!, Small and sturdy
I have been using this 7 port hub for about 3 weeks. I have a Sony Vaio and the ports on it are at the front of laptop and plugged in accessories get in the way, so I always use a hub. The hub works great! The only thing I could not run was a CDrom drive, internal type, that I have on an adapter cable. I didn't think it could run it from the begining so I am not disapointed. Right now I have my Epson printer (RX680), bluetooth fob, 300 gig external HD, wireless keypad fob, Smart card reader, and creative mosaic mp3 player plugged in and it works great. I also have the hubs external power hooked up. I don't know if that would make a difference or not. This hub is great. I took it on the road last week traveling and it was nice not having to worry if it got broke because it is small, metal and tough! When I need a another hub, I will definatley buy another one of these!
