Great Performance and Price
I used this projector for a conference setting for 300+ person venue. Projected at a 8x10 screen on a stage, the brightness and clarity of this projector was very good. I probably should have purchased the WXGA, but this projector did the job. I would recommend this projector to those using for conference, seminar, training, or just home theater use. Unfortunately, I have not used the 3D feature, but glad it is there for future use. This unit also starts up and shuts down fairly quickly. I was disappointed that it did not come with a case, unlike other projectors that I have purchased.

Outstanding projector
This projector replaces my beloved InFocus unit, and I was frankly stunned by the technological advances. I bought the InFocus almost 6 years ago and loved it until it broke down. The new ViewSonic is way brighter, way clearer, and so quiet that the first time I turned it on, I thought it wasn't working. All for less than half what the old one cost 6 years ago. Installation couldn't be simpler...power plug, and RCA style video cable matched the old system and I was up and running in minutes. Focussing took maybe 5 minutes and I had a glorious tv screen nearly 8' wide on the wall. Even not bothering with a proper screen, it's a wonderful experience, both for regular tv watching, and video gaming.

Great projector for the price
I bought this projector because of the resolution offered, the lumens count and the life of the lamp. Its' great value for the price.
Please notice that I didn't use the 3D option, and I will probably never use it.
The only down side is that it doesn't come with a lens cap or case, I had to buy it (a viewsonic case) separately for some 25$, I would have preferred to have it included.
