Battery lasts 16 + hours as advertised. Accurate trace of trip routes ftaken are shown clearly on google maps (haven'nt tried google earth yet). A bargain at the $29.99 that I paid for it.

AWFUL PRODUCT - Very Basic and Not Worth It
This unit stores GPS location and dumps it onto a very poor software program. Battery lasts less than 8 hours. You can see where the unit was on a Google Map, but there is no address, duration of stops, or speed indication from the map data. Track Stick is a better product. Dont waste your time or money on this.

Poor GPS
The GPS will not stay on and the tracking software is awful. Don't waste the money.

Good for price
Where can you hide unit in vehicle so it will receive GPS signals? Needs more sensative receiver. But still works great for the price.

good product
works well, but has limited battery life. if the battery runs down before you turn the device off, you will loose your settings (not your route map) and you will have to run through the device setup again.
that said, you are able to display your route via both google maps and google earth. you can export your route to a text file or kml file for later retreival. accuracy varies but for the price, this is an excellent beginners tool for gps route tracking.
