What you should know
Recovery Media
Most computer systems no longer include "Recovery Media" (Disks or CDs used to restore your computer system to it's factory shipped state). Many do not even include Operating System disks.
This is not specific to systems purchased from any one company, but now standard practice throughout the entire industry.
However, many manufacturers include software on the hard drive that creates recovery media for you. This allows burning your own set of recovery CDs or DVDs - all you need is the blank media.
Inclusion of such a recovery utility varies by manufacturer and model; not all manufactures and models include such a utility. For those that include such a utility we recommend you create your own set of recovery media after completing the Windows installation. In other words, right after you start using your PC!
If you fail to do this and encounter a difficulty in the future you may not be able to properly restore your computer.
Some manufacturers may have physical recovery media available separately for purchase; consult your owner’s manual support information section for additional information. Systems that do not come with a CD/DVD burner may still include Recovery Disks - please check the manufacturer's specs.

but went down after 9 months then i had to pay for the shipping back to them for what i paid for this system they should of paid it $1499.99 if i was to buy a new gaming computer i wouldn't buy a SYX im really not happy with it i had a HP for 10 yrs and it is still running not a problem at all and this one brakes down after 9 months :(

this is my first dedicated gaming machine, and the performance for the value factor cant be beat! with everything it comes standard with i could not believe the price! i jumped on it! and so far ive not been disappointed 1 bit!
the shipping was fast too.
and i decided to go whole hog, i got the ASUS wide screen monitor and the OCZ SDD, and the Thermaltake Challenger Ultimate key board!

Judge this one by the service and not by the parts
Obviously, this system rocks. It has all name brand, high end parts. With cross-fire enabled, every game I have played has defaulted to the highest graphics settings.
After 2 weeks, it suddenly would not boot. Instead, it repeated an annoying series of beeps. I called tech support and was immediately impressed with the quality of the service.
Long story short, with very patient assistance from tech support, I was able to replace the motherboard and get the system up and running again.
The motherboard on this system is a high end Asus, so its hard to fault Systemax for its shortcomings. On the other hand, I received the best, consistent tech support I have had in 25 years of fooling with these things.
Parts are parts are parts. Excellent service, on the other hand, is something to write home about.
There is no question I will buy Systemax computers again.
