Best Bang for the Buck!
I considered the cheaper Celeron G1610 which does not come with a fan. This cpu has more punch and comes with a fan so it is actually cheaper (unless you already had a fan). I built a fast and cheap win 7 system with this processor and a MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard. Very pleased!

Great processor
So great in fact I have two of them ! They are fast and relieable . They work with blueray burner . built in GFX that a cheap video card can't match .

I am proud of my choice of CPU
This product is the heart of a Windows Seven computer that I recently built. Cost was my primary goal and I had never even heard of this product before. This a low cost motherboard and 8 gig of RAM made me an excellent computer. Moreover, this CPU was $10 less here than it was at another major competitor. I am very pleased with it.

This is a super value for a very capable Sandy Bridge processor. Plenty speedy , does everything you would expect from a dual core . Best price anywhere , I checked . Buy it !

Great Proc.
I'm using this processor to run my NAS (Amahi on top of Ubuntu Server 12.04). I didn't need a lot of power, so I figured this would do well enough. For under $100 I don't think there is a better processor. Rated 2 out of over 1500 in value according to passmark. I would use this for any mid level desktop or server need.
