I have this paired with an ECS A55-M2 motherboard running in my HTPC with no problems. This combo along with an SSD gives excellent performance, speeds are incredible. Although I am running XBMCbuntu, which probably helps with the speeds as well. The stock fan is quiet and temps get no higher than 27c when playing 1080p movies for hours. I have no other fans besides the PSU fan.

Impressive
Great processor at an unbelievable price. No, it wont run Crysis 2 (I didn't check, it might!), but if you're looking to upgrade or build a mid-range box this is perfect.

Faster than dual core
Very good processor. I did an HD 1080p video test against my other computer with a dual core processor and all it did was keep buffering. This tri core from AMD never buffered once! Graphics are amazing considering it's not even a graphics card.
