The new URC A6 works with thousands of A/V devices and has multiple set-up options, including the unique “Quick Set-up” that does almost all of the work for you. Optionally, you can teach the A6 commands from other remote controls with the “Learning” feature. In addition to replacing up to six remote controls, the URC-A6 delivers much more. The A6 uses one-button “Macros” (i.e., an automated series of interconnected commands ) that allow you turn on your TV, cable box, DVD player and surround sound system all at the same time with the press of one button. The URC-A6 also comes equipped with four customizable “My Favorites” buttons, in which you can program up to five favorite channels per button. With the URC-A6’s ability to control most IR (Infrared) operated lights, you’ll never have to get off the couch to set the mood for family movie night.
